Etiquette
To insure that all of our golfers enjoy their time spent at Avalon, we ask that you become familiar with our policies:
Golfers: Golfers should always conduct themselves in the spirit of the game of golf and be courteous to other golfers and the Avalon staff. Register in the golf shop 20 minutes prior to tee time.
Golf Course: Replace divots, rake bunkers and repair ball marks on the greens. As recommended by the USGA, it is Avalon's policy to have bunker rakes placed in the bunkers.
Dress Code: Proper golf attired is preferred. Shirts must be worn at all times. Cut-offs are not allowed. No metal spikes; softspikes or tennis shoes only.
Golf Carts & Pull Carts: Carts must be operated in a safe manner at all times. Always keep the carts on the cart path near the tees and at least 30 yards away from all greens. Carts must remain on the cart path on all par 3’s. Pull carts should be kept off greens and tees. We consider the collars surrounding each green to be part of the green. Please keep the pull cart off the collar as well.

First group of the day: It is always special to be the first group of the day on the golf course. At Avalon we ask a favor of that first group each day. If you are in the first group please do not play the front 9 any quicker than 90 minutes, and your 18 holes no quicker than 3 hours. This allows the maintenance crew to stay ahead of play in the morning and make the course nice for everyone all day long. Thank you.
Pace of Play: Play ready golf at all times. Fivesomes are not permitted. Encourage faster players to play through.
