DESCRIPTION:Sponsored By \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n \n\n\n\n*MAJOR EVENT*300 Tour Series Points per Bracket \n\n\n\nBracketsPro             /            Open               /           Senior \n\n\n\nGUIDELINES \n\n\n\n\nThis is an individual MEMBERS ONLY event!\n\n\n\nAll participants must have an active GHIN. \n\n\n\nModified KNUTH is NOT in effect for Matchplay.\n\n\n\nThere will be a pro\, open & senior bracket\n\n\n\nYou may sign up for multiple brackets.\n\n\n\nThere are no qualifying rounds required. Seeding will be based on handicap on May 14th\, 2026.\n\n\n\nOnce the schedule is set\, each round will have a set date to be completed by. Failure to complete the match will result in a coin toss. The higher seed player will be heads and lower seed player will be tails. Results will be final. \n\n\n\n\nFORMAT \n\n\n\n\nPro Bracket\n\nMatches will be played in USGA Match Play format from the BLACK TEES with no handicaps.\n\n\n\n\n\nOpen Bracket\n\nMatches will be played in USGA Match Play format from the GREEN TEES\, WHITE TEES (60+)\, or BLUE TEES (70+) with the higher handicap player receiving strokes as they fall based on the difference of the two player’s course handicaps. (ie. A 12 handicap would receive a stroke on the 5 most difficult holes if he were playing against a 7 handicap). \n\n\n\nPlease note that players with an odd numbered handicap will receive the extra stroke on the front nine.\n\n\n\n\n\nSenior Bracket (60+ Years of Age)\n\nMatches will be played in USGA Match Play format from the WHITE TEES (60+) or BLUE TEES (70+) with the higher handicap player receiving strokes as they fall based on the difference of the two player’s course handicaps.\n\n\n\nPlease note players playing from different tee boxes will have the appropriate stroke deduction per WHS.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n*This event is an Avalon Tour Series MAJOR\, each bracket played worth 300 Tour Series Points!!* \n\n\n\nENTRIESEach bracket is limited to the first 32 players. \n\n\n\nEntry Fee                 $20 per player / per bracket \n\n\n\nGood luck and enjoy the tournament!
